What is an IPFN?
A public, verifiable address for creative work.
An International Pinned File Number binds a work to its author — publicly, on a record anyone can check without asking us. The file is pinned, its fingerprint is recorded, and the record is committed to a chain no one can quietly edit.

At midnight UTC, the day's registrations are committed into a volume. The volume is hashed. The hash is anchored to Base — and every volume carries the anchor of the one before it. Change anything, anywhere, and the chain says so.
No production volumes anchored yet — the first appears here the moment it confirms on Base.
The file’s content-addressed home — named by its own bytes, hosted everywhere it’s pinned.
The fingerprint — change one pixel and the number changes. Any copy is checkable against it.
